With a total crew of 4-8 on board this will truly be an epic adventure, you will be able to learn navigation, weather routing, sail trim, boat systems, study and build sea time for your Captains License, or practice any other skills you may want to develop. We can also use the time to teach you combined with NauticEd, so that you can take the earn a certification that will allow you to charter anywhere in Europe. All of this while exploring every sailors dream area of the world, the magical South Pacific; from Hawaii we will cross the equator, to French Polynesia, sail through the Tahitian archipelago, on to the cooks, Tonga and Fiji. Race week in Fiji will be the last event of our season. Finally, don't miss out on the chance to watch the dolphins light up with bio-luminescence as they play in Angelique's bow, or view the stars from 1,500 miles from land. Or see a Tropical Island rise up over the horizon as we make another landfall. We can not emphasize this enough: this is the trip of a lifetime.
Email me for more information about this trip and for an application... Space is VERY limited, so don't delay
May -September, 2021. (Exact departure and end of trip dates TBD).
All crew is required to participate in training onboard Angelique before we depart as well as a 150 mile non stop sail. All training is included in the cost of the trip. Crew members are also expected to keep watch schedules, and to help during all-hands situations. This is not a luxury cruise - you are expected to help with the boat. All crew will participate in all aspects of keeping Angelique if good mechanical condition and looking good. Some sailing experience is required but it's okay if you don't have offshore experience.
We will cover nearly 5,000 miles over 4 months
$15,000 per person. We know it's a big commitment, but chances like this don't come around very often. The price includes all training, most equipment, food, and helps cover the cost of boat insurance, Inmarsat data, and Maintenance. We do not cover the cost of any on shore spending or non-boat related expenses (such as tours, bar tabs, hotel rooms etc.)
